About Us

At UNDP Serbia, our Digital Team is at the heart of our mission to drive sustainable development through digital transformation.

With a structure that combines expertise in technology, policy, and innovation, we work closely with the Serbian government, local communities, and international partners to create a digital ecosystem that supports economic growth, enhances public services, and improves the quality of life for all citizens.

Our Digital Team

Digital Portfolio – a team of experts and advisors working daily on digital initiatives with our partners.

Digital Advisor – a horizontal function that provides cross-departmental support for the effective embedding of digital into everything we do.

Tech Cell – an engineering team specializing in web, mobile, AI, blockchain, and other technologies, collaborates with internal program teams and our partners to deliver tailored tech solutions.

Accelerator Lab – a research and development team that supports our innovation work and connects us to the global network of 91 similar labs in 115 countries.

What Guides Our Digital Work

UNDP’s global Digital Strategy serves as our guiding principle, navigating our efforts to harness the potential of digital transformation for sustainable development. This strategy takes a holistic approach to planning and designing digital public policy, ensuring that the benefits of digital technology reach everyone, particularly those who are marginalized or at risk of being left behind.

It also focuses not only on harnessing the clear opportunities that innovation, data, and digital technologies bring but also on ensuring that risks are considered and mitigated along the way. Our Digital Development Compass points towards a future where everyone can contribute to and benefit from the digital economy, fostering resilient, inclusive, and empowered societies to face 21st century challenges.
